Again! I owe everyone an apology for the tired, sleepy eyes and low res photo! Yay! I am just happy because after all these months… Finally! The Total Girl Slambook is available in bookstores! Yey! Happinessss T-T No mawr waiting! Not that I am still into signing slambooks, (but I’ll be glad to have it signed by friends and experience this high school thing all over again :D), it just felt surreal to see my drawings in print ^______^. Yey! It was a fun project! I hope I can do something like this again *hint hint* Please buy it. Naaaao! Thanks Rommel for the figure drawing advice and the help! <3

Last night was really fun. Yey to Ang InK’s ForeveRENEver Opening Night! :D Thank you friends for being there with us. That night made me miss Batibot even more! I bought a copy of Mga Tambay sa Tabi-Tabi. It is a collection of creatures from Philippine Folklore and it was illustrated by members of Ang InK. Yey! Fun fun fun! Rommel and I did an illustration of Bawa. It is a gigantic bird that likes to eat the sun or moon or both! To shoo away the bird, people must make some noise or placate it with music and food offerings.

This is one of the illustrations I did for Total Girl and it is my fave. <3

Please forgive me for the unpleasant picture. The wishy washy hair and the poor resolution. This technology is causing me a lot of trouble lately. My beloved Sony Cybershot DSC-R1 gave up on me even my Bamboo Fun bid its farewell because it’s not fun anymore. So at this point, I have to slash my wrist and bleed money, if it is possible but that is so emo (to the nth level!) or defacating money like my fishies in my Insaniquarium is cool too. Okay, sorry for the rant. But then again, I have to be grateful because I received a pretty calendar from PERAA (Private Education Retirement Annuity Association) and my sea fairy artwork is in it! Now, I feel like pressing the google button “I’m feeling lucky” a couple of times.
